Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to hosting a great beer festival. Our volunteers for our 1st festival were awesome, and we look forward to see you again.

If you're new this year, you'll be joining an awesome crew!

Important: Volunteers cannot sample or be intoxicated in any way while on shift.

Anyone found to be sampling or intoxicated while on shift will be asked to leave and not allowed to volunteer in the future.

Beverage Pourers (40 needed)

This position takes tickets/tokens from festival attendees and pours samples of beer, wine, cider, seltzer in the sample glass. They will need to ensure that the attendee is not too drunk to serve and is not wearing a Designated Driver wristband.

Shift 1: 10:30am - 2:30pm

Shift 2: 1:30pm - 5:30pm

Coordinators (6 needed)

This position checks in with volunteers and brewers to make sure everything is going well, fills in for pourers that need a break, answers questions from attendees, and manages ice for the brewers. Manages the cleanliness and organization of pouring stations and empty bottles/cans. Coordinates with the Event Managers as needed.

Shift 1: 10:30am - 2:30pm

Shift 2: 1:30pm - 5:30pm

Front Gate (10 needed)

This position assists with selling/taking tickets, ID checks, and managing attendee entry into the event. May provide cups/tokens to attendees, sell additional tokens/tickets and merchandise, and answer attendee questions.

Shift 1: 10:30am - 2:30pm

Shift 2: 1:30pm - 5:30pm

Security (12 needed)

This position provides security at entrances/exits, inside the event, and in the parking area.

Shift 1: 10:30am - 2:30pm

Shift 2: 1:30pm - 5:30pm

Setup (5 needed)

This position helps with table setup, popup setup, signage setup, etc. prior to the event. A great add-on for 1st shift volunteers.

Shift: 9:00am - 10:30am

Teardown (5 needed)

This position helps with table teardown, popup tent teardown, signage collection, trash collection, beverage collection, etc. after the event. A great add-on for 2nd shift volunteers.

Shift: 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Volunteers will receive:

1st or 2nd shift:

1 General Admission ticket to the event
(and all that comes with it)*
1 volunteer exclusive t-shirt (see below)*

Setup or Teardown (only):

$10 discount on 1 General Admission or VIP ticket
or 1 free Designated Driver ticket
$5 food voucher for food trucks

Setup or Teardown (add-on for shift volunteer):

5 additional drink tickets to use when shift is over
$10 food voucher for food truck

* If you do not want drink tickets you can choose to substitute for a food voucher for one of the food trucks.
** Volunteers must be signed up and have provided their t-shirt size by March 20, 2024 to receive guaranteed shirt size availability.
